because i think it would/could be a motivating factor, to make SOME want to not be associated with government assistance anymore... you'll never motivate ALL recipients, but a large portion of them would be motivated to do for themselves, rather than just rely on the government, as is the narrative....
but there are many other factors that would also have to be in play, so really all of it is banter and idle talk, until we get serious about where we are heading a society and nation...

Yep = been saying that for decades now.
Public shame for being unable to care for yourself is one of the missing ingredients in today's fukced up society.
Hell, people even openly discuss the ways to scam 'the system' - there was a time people would go hungry and work 2 or 3 jobs before they would even consider getting the 'govt cheese.' It was not something one wanted, and worked their asses off to get away from.
But we were such troglodytes 'back then.' = we only sent men to the moon, invented the internet and did the ground work for the tech advances we enjoy today.
