If democrats get power in house and impeach Trump , then they will push their own agenda. Come 2020 they will not have to try and beat out Trump for the presidential election and some Trump supporters may give up on the votings system. Democrats know that Trump will be hard to beat in 2020.

It doesn’t matter. Democrats have brought articles of impeachment to every R since Nixon except for Ford. And I stand by the only reason they didn’t to Ford was because how hard it would’ve been and how it would look if you try to impeach the guy that replaced the guy that you tried to impeach.
