If you're referring to the cookie monster morons, then I completely agree with you. No way they would say the personal insults to his face. That's not what you were responding to though.
If I was asked in his presence about him being the football coach, I would have no problem discussing why I don't think he's not right for the job. I'm not gonna go out of my way to go find him to say it though, just like I don't go out of my way to start threads about it on here.

The guy asked something along the lines of whether Sullivan learned anything in Seattle that he brought back with him. O said they asked Sullivan to go there to teach them. The guy started to ask a follow-up question and O jumped all over him. It was bizarre.

Not bizarre at all. That is a normal reaction of someone who isn't emotionally secure with their job.

I can tell you what got O fired up was when he said Jerry went to teach them a couple of reporters LOL! That’s when coach O got pissed you could see it!
