If Houston beats golden state at 100% with curry. It’s an ALL TIME great series win

If curry doesn’t play, it is not all time great.

This is common sense and I don’t see how it is debateable.

youve given countless more examples to the contrary.

Steph's scoring numbers in the 9 games before the Cavs series: 40 29 26 28 24 19 31 31 36

How efficiently did he play in those games compared to before the injury? That's the more fair observance.

46% from the field, I believe over 40% from 3.

Certainly better than 60% in the 1st 9 games back, then he performed worse against CLE.

but a title when you beat warriors with no Steph(or avoid them) would be viewed like the one the cavs won V GSW.

You're devaluing a team that was down 3-1 and won Game 7 of the NBA finals on the road. I can't stand the Cavs or Warriors, but can give credit where it's due.

Well Curry's not going to be 100% this year so you can get that out of your head now.

I'm asking for examples of all-time great teams that were beat.

It would seem to me that if a team gets beat they're not an all-time great team.

Would you agree that they did not beat the version of the warriors that won 70 games in those last three games?

Does GSW win 70 games with Draymond Green missing 1/3 of the games, With no bogut, with curry and iggy hobbled bad bad like they were?

Clearly they don’t win 70 or anywhere close to it. They were playing VAREJAO in meaningful mjnutes. VAREJAO

We give cabs credit for winning but would never place them in the all time great series win class that we would put them in had they beat warriors at 100%.

Spurs over heat was the most recent all time great series win. None since then have been on that all time level bc the competition wasn’t good enough.

If you cannot stay healthy throughout the season, and that's the reason why you lose, then it turns out they were never an all-time great team, so this conversation is moot.

Who gives a damn who was leading the race at the 3/4 mark if you can't finish it off? I couldn't care less about their 73 wins.

Injuries are part of the game. Every team deals with it. And no offense, but who fricking cares if the Warrior fans don't acknowledge the Cavs "all time series win."

Did the Warriors fans even exist before 2013? frick them and their bandwagon.

My problem isn't wanting to beat the best. I get that. But putting out quotes that our championship won't be that big of a deal and shite is just a horrible idea, and will surely bite him and unfortunately the rest of us in the arse.

I don’t care who else acknowledges. I am giving my opinion on how I view them. that is a key part of this that most people forget about.

Warriors are known to have one of the best nba fan bases in the nba for a long long time. So not sure where that last comment comes from.

It's also just a horrible hot take, so there's that too.

It was pretty much the exact same squads, and Spurs were favored both times. Seems to be Heat over Spurs was greater than Spurs over Heat. Heat over Spurs would seem to fit all of your criteria, interesting that you'd say Spurs over Heat first.

Swag would you rather have beaten Jordan and the bulls in 94. Or the Knicks? There’s no debate. Everyone would have rather beaten Jordan. Just like you would rather beat the warriors WITH curry.

You act like it's a choice you would've ever had.

Houston wasn't ever beating those Bulls. You have to take your championships when you can get them.
