If you continue to read (or maybe OP will quote it) he mentions he wishes he’d have went to LSU when Saban was there. Not really a knock on LSU.

I thought he would be the biggest jerk in person but I got a chance to meet him years ago after an LSU football game, he was very outgoing and spoke with me for a good 15-20 minutes.

His sophomore season was Saban's first year. He had a shot to play for Saban, but he fricked up the UAB game and Saban went with Davey. To be fair, Booty did have a great 4 game stretch during Saban's first year when Davey was injured.

The Peach Bowl sealed his fate.

I’d like to point out that I said essentially the same-ish thing in 2 different posts. Basically that Booty was sort of correct for his statement, because Dinardo. First post has 70 something downvotes and 5 upvotes. Second comment 42 up and 0 down.

I will say the second comment was a bit more specific. But holy frick, the hive mind.....the Facebook effect is real.

Idc about downvotes just odd

He would've had another year under Saban and Jimbo.

Hunter also benched him for Rohan.

As for that attempted dive for a TD, it came out later he was trying th be like Elway. Seriously.
