Do you buy anything golf related because of an endorsement? Looking back, I bought a set of Lynx irons. While I loved the way they looked, I have to think that my favorite player using them had something to do with it. Nothing else though. No ball, shoe, glove or clothes ever. You?

I ain't going to lie. Kucher plays the Bridgestone ball, so I researched into Sketchers shoes. Kuch always looks comfortable out there, so there must be something going on.

My God, they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned.

I can say I have NOT purchased something because of an endorsement. Anything PUMA or Travis Matthew is a solid pass for me BAW

yeah I cant get into travis matthew, or any of the trendy golf stuff.
I played pro-v1 for years because most of the tour does, but have since changed between bridgestone and srixon because they're a better fit for me.

Golf Pro v2s. I got them on Amazon prime last week for $75
It the first time in a while where I walked a round and my feet didn't hurt at all after.

I get the feeling those are bad on purpose.

I typically don't purchase anything specific to a player endorsement when it comes to golf... I've tried different balls, but that is more for my feeling.

The only thing I've ever purchased because it was endorsed by anyone was the Tom Emanski Defensive Drills video endorsed by Fred McGriff.

Again, I get the opposite feeling.

It's like he knows he is not Tiger or Jordan, etc. He's just old guy pimping shoes and doesn't give a frick. He understands his persona as a regular Joe/dad type and is playing up to it with goofy dad jokes.

I probably wouldn't have bought the Greg Norman Secret if it was the Corey Pavin Secret.
