Hilliard should be the Friday starter. Young man has been playing his arse off.

And it’s time for Hess to go back to closing games

I think it should be Hilliard, Gilbert, Labas or maybe even Storz once he settles in. I just have always thought Hess is a perfect closer.

Hess has actually done better than I expected after seeing him earlier this season. Sucks he gave up 2 homeruns but it happens. Lange did the same last year. LSU needs to produce more runs.

Labas
Story
Hilliard

Gilbert and Hess to the pen. If this were to be, the Tigers would be going to the CWS. It means that they are fulfilling their potential. I say mid-April for about a month. I also believe all these freshmen will be playing including Hughes at SS with Smith at third.

I know some fans are salty, but Our hitters didn't do us any favors in game 1 and game 3.

Vandy played VERY well. A very good defensive team.

We had a few mistakes that cost us in close games. I think when Labas and Storz are 100%, we will be an outstanding team.

We take 2 out of 3 if Hilliard pitched either Friday or Saturday.

I just wish I was as good as some of you guys who know when the opposing pitcher is gonna throw a shutout and also know which of our pitchers is going to have a bad outing.

Ya'll ever try Powerball?

Hilliard is fine just where he's at.
When you start tinkering to much it could hurt when you put all that Fri night pressure on him.
Plus he's dependent on normal days rest, at some point you will impact his rest period.

Hess has got to be tipping certain pitches. That is the only explanation to someone that dominates a team, yet gives up 2 - 3 home runs. Also, the batters might just be sitting back waiting for the mistake pitch which would account for a pitcher that gives up very few hits, but a large percentage of them are home runs
