Care to guess one of them?

Every LSU fan knows this.

I serioulsy doubt that since Millenials don’t even know 90’s LSU history.

If the Ramblers advance, they would match the lowest seed in NCAA Tournament history to reach Final Four (2011 VCU, 2006 George Mason, 1986 LSU).

Florida gulf coast got bounced in the Sweet 16 iirc

That was a great memory in '86. Yes, we were fortunate to play the first two games at home and likely don't make that magical run otherwise, but we did go to Atlanta and beat Georgia Tech with Salley and Mark Price and Kentucky with Kenny Sky Walker. So we earned our way by doing that IMHO.
We had talent on that team, but there was the Chicken Pox thing and losing Nikita mid-season to the "Gestapo Bastards" rendered us to Cinderella status which suited Dale just fine. But make no mistake, with John Williams, Derrick Taylor, Don Redden, and Anthony Wilson and Rickey Blanton.....that team was better than an 11-seed that barely made the tourney and they showed that.
I actually thought the team the next year made a more impressive run. They had nowhere near the talent of the '86 squad and make IMHO a more improbable run, all things considered.

If I remember right, in 87 Fess Irvin misses either 2 FTs or front end of 1&1 at the end. We should’ve been in back to back Final 4s. Was in New Orleans too in 87.

You remember correctly Caddo, but I feel bad Fess gets the blame. He actually played maybe his best game for LSU that day, scored 14 points and 2-3 from three point land.
That one was on Dale, we're up 9 and they absolutely can't stop Nikita Wilson, they have no answer for him.
But Dale goes four corners and stops getting Nikita the ball. Kudos for getting up 9 on a more talented team but Dale shite the bed with his end game strategy. Fess was a symptom of a bad decision by Dale, he doesn't deserve the footnote he gets, IMHO.

‘86 was my favorite though.
The one that had the best shot was the ‘80-‘81 Team until Rudy got hurt in NO.

No brainer I agree, probably not IMHO Dale's most talented team but a lot of experience playing together with seniors Macklin, Ethan, Cookie and Sims complemented by frosh Swat Mitchell and soph Hi-C.
Not much depth at all on that team though which is why Rudy getting hurt was so big. Johhny Jones, John Tudor and Tyron Black were reserves but in big games Dale and Huckaby really didn't trust them and they didn't play much.
I actually think the 84 and 85 teams had more depth of talent and they both bowed out in lopsided losses to much lower seeds in the first round. of course the 90 team with Shaq, Stanley, CJ, Williamson, Singleton et al was very talented if inexperienced, but at least they lost to a very good team and in the second round. The crime there was being seeded 5 because of their underachievement in the regular season.

LSU
George Mason (year LSU went to final 4)
Loyola-Chicago (which happpened tonight)
Edit: this is assuming that you mean there have only been 3 teams in history to do this, instead of you just asking us to name 3 teams who have done it... cause i can name 3 teams (which i did above), but am not sure if there are more.
