I don't think anybody realizes how far bat tech has progressed in the last 10-15 years.

I'm not saying every hit was a homerun, but the bats make every guy capable in a competitive league. The limit is reached, and then a couple of accidentals every single game.

im playing softball right now. I play usssa softball every weekend and I play league ball. I know how hot the bats are and I've played against teams that could absolutely mash.tons of ex college ball players and I've even seen will middlebrooks hitting softballs (former big leaguer) and he hit them put alot... on. 300 foot fields your right the home runs are always used on a regulation sized field but not on a fricking baseball field.

In 95-96, the DiMarini Double Wall Distance came out. We played in a league with 6HR limit and were normally out before the 3rd Inning. Pucked them up a d started swinging the Easton Redline after that.
