You know what is the biggest flaw in films that dabble in satanic stuff? Its their portrayal that "Satan" or the devil would be able to do whatever they want unimpeded.

Unless the gate keepers are dead (Micheal/Gab/Raph etc etc) are dead then there should be no way that the devil can give that much power over random womens to be witches. If it did, there would still be witches around today, not Wiccans, THOSE type of witches.

How would you define the scene where the baby disappeared?

Where she's playing with the baby and it just disappears, and then she goes after it in the woods by herself? I figured she could suffer from some sort of psychosis or split personality disorder. Nobody else saw what happened.

Scary as hell. Seriously?

Yea I get it the movie is a “slow burn” but this movie sucks honestly. I guess it’s worth a watch but I went into it with high expectations and it sucked

I enjoyed it but have no interest in seeing it again. It was gorgeous to look at and was pretty creepy throughout but its rewatchability was killed by how slow it was.

If you liked it, give "A Dark Song" a shot. It has that slow burn, quiet, subtle creepiness. I got a similar vibe from it. The payoff isn't the best, but was interesting for sure.

and skip the witches completely.

Are you kidding? The look on the girl's face as she joins the witches and begins to levitate is the best shot in the movie.
