Really that entire sequence from when they enter Juarez to crossing to border is intense as hell.
The first time I watched that scene, my heart was beating so fast from beginning to end.

Loved the first one. Will be seeing this one on opening weekend

don't get the love for Sicario
It's one of the best movies of the last decade.

Except for Emily Blunt
She was literally the only bad thing about that movie.
Del Toro crushed that role

Emily Blunt would be towards the bottom of my list of why I liked Sicario

The lines from the trailer were a little cringe worthy.
It feels a little like that Good Will Hunting sequel from Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.

Well now I've seen the whole movie. Cool.

The other trailer I watched was extremely less revealing of the plot. I will still absolutely watch it but whomever is responsible for this trailer needs to be fired.

Carson. Come on, son! It wasn't the bump-fire that turned you off was it?

not really sure why the hate on blunt
she was an important part of the movie. showing the contrast between a "normal" cop trying to uphold her moral values vs the ruthlessness of the drug cartel and of those trying to fight them on their terms

It's intense and the score is fantastic.

I liked the first one but not interested in another. It wasn’t some unique world building movie that made me wanting more, and I’m generally kinda worn out of cartel/mafia movies in general.

Really? Unless I am mistaken, I don't recall too many movies about the cartel being made. Certainly not enough for over-saturation.
2's trailer looks bad fricking arse.

Sicario was the shite.
Incredible first scene and ending. And good in between.

I get being annoyed with her character, but not with the people who are glad she's not involved this time around (although I don't think it would make sense for her to be, isn't it a prequel?)
Her role was central to the whole concept. She was necessary to make the point. Just as she was necessary, but ultimately inconsequential, to the action in the film.
