SAMBO'S
There was a book from Sambo's called "Little Black Sambo". Probably one of the most racist children's book ever.

I loved Shakey's when I was a kid. My favorite part was watching them through the window making the pizzas. The old black and white films that they used to play like Laurel and Hardy, WC Fields, etc were very entertaining, as was the game room.

Arby's used to be really good back in the day too. The side of roast beef would be hanging for them to slice.

Howard Johnson's was a place to get all you can eat fried clam strips on Wed and Friday. I used to tear those up.

Liked Red Barn too.

Howard Johnson's

Used to be a real popular motel and restaurant, until 1974, when a popular singer of that era was brutally raped in a Howard Johnson's in Long Island. The multimillion dollar lawsuit and infamy related to that event pretty well put an end to Howard Johnson's.
