Any of you Baws had a treehouse built for the kids?

Just wondering if any of y’all have ever had a treehouse built for your kids. We have a few Live Oaks in our backyard and I’m looking into having one built. Have no idea if there are people in Louisiana who do this or not. Before one of you jackasses tells me to do it myself, I just don’t want to and would rather pay someone to do it for me...but also don’t want to pay what it would cost to buy a new vehicle. There has got to be someone out there who works offshore and has two weeks to kill and is good with woodworking, yes?

Part of the fun is getting the kids involved in the building process. That is what makes memories. Ask their dad if he can help them.

I'm building one right now. 10x10 platform 8 feet off the ground. Everything is cedar except for the floor. Gonna put a swing off the side but no roof. Got about $1800 in it.
