I watched the whole thing immediately after my tongue in cheek post. And as I suspected, there is a lot more that LSU weighs when scheduling opponents than many of us realize. It was a great video.

My sarcastic post was to the ULL coach and fans who insinuated LSU is simply scared to play them, when in reality, WW is weighing many factors while trying to put LSU in the best position for success.

I'm sure WW's explanation will fall on deaf ears across the basin, though.

You can not convince me that the competitive nature and environment/atmosphere of the game last week was worse than when Alcorn state, UT Martin, Samford, North Florida, etc showed up in BR earlier in the season.

I’m not saying UL is better than LSU, but you have to admit some that playing a game like last week would better help prepare LSU for SEC play than the North’s florida’s of the world that are schedule annually.
