what do you mean you don't think he should be?

are you saying you would have rathered they put whoever it is playing him put makeup on to look like that, which they could, similar to The Thing in the Fantastic Four movie? I could take that argument.
But if he's supposed to be a lot bigger than everyone else, then that makes that kind of difficult.

Also, they have pretty much an unlimited budget for this movie. CGI'ing a character, while expensive, is probably somethign the actor would rather have done than sit through hours of makeup everyday like The Thing had to do.
