I was referencing the "outcome"...i.e. the male simply moves on while the female has to become the more 'responsible' party . Even though that responsibility most often involves entering the state welfare system.

Not quite. The flatworm "winner" does move on but typically keeps repeating the process until he loses and becomes female.
