If the E.U. wants to further increase their already massive tariffs and barriers on U.S. companies doing business there, we will simply apply a Tax on their Cars which freely pour into the U.S. They make it impossible for our cars (and more) to sell there. Big trade imbalance!

The United States has an $800 Billion Dollar Yearly Trade Deficit because of our “very stupid” trade deals and policies. Our jobs and wealth are being given to other countries that have taken advantage of us for years. They laugh at what fools our leaders have been. No more!

He punches the world, completely unprovoked, and then issues threats and whines when they punch back.
Such a fricking ignorant cuck.

Youre the fool dumbass.
They sell the BMWs at 0 tax and those dollars get pulled out of our economy.
We sell a ford in their country and its taxed 15%. They then sell theirs against us at a cheaper rate.
They sell steel and aluminium into our country subsidized by their government at a price cheaper than the market and puts us out of businesses.

After leaving in a EU territory for 2 years, I agree with that 100%.

So their domestically manufactured vehicles will become a bargain relative to their imported vehicles prompting a relative increase in demand for US manufactured BMWs and Mercedes that will spur expansion of domestic manufacturing?
Boy. Trump really hasn't thought this shite through.

Uh, because we're the largest consumer country in the world and we like to buy cheap shite? Our economy has moved away from manufacturing and toward service and technology? Our standard of living?
Put it this way...if you strip away all tariffs around the globe and just have completely free trade between nations, we would still be in a tremendous hole because of how much we consume. Tariffs around the world are not the issue, it's our economy. There are provisions in place, via the WTO, which allow for minor disagreements to be handled without a government unilaterally starting trade wars. Trump went straight for the jugular, against the advice of a huge majority of his economic advisers. And now he's escalating it by talking shite?
Worst president ever.
