Yellowstone TV Series trailer (starring Kevin Costner)

Created, written and directed by Taylor Sheridan (Sicario, Hell or High Water, Wind River, Sicario 2).
LINK
Two-time Academy Award winner Kevin Costner stars as John Dutton, the patriarch of the family who controls the largest contiguous ranch in the United States, under constant attack by those it borders – land developers, an Indian reservation, and America’s first National Park. It is an intense study of a violent world far from media scrutiny — where land grabs make developers billions, and politicians are bought and sold by the world’s largest oil and lumber corporations. Where drinking water poisoned by fracking wells and unsolved murders are not news: they are a consequence of living in the new frontier. It is the best and worst of America seen through the eyes of a family that represents both.

Sounds interesting.
Wyoming has a contentious history with the Federal government.
Jackson Hole and the Grand Tetons was the longest National Park battle in history.
Ranchers didn't want any land designated as park land outside of Yellowstone. They wanted continued free grazing and to be able to kill wolves with impunity.
Finally an agreement was reached - the land John D. Rockfeller had privately bought up was donated to the government...and Grand Teton National Park was created...adding about 200,000 acres to old Grand Teton National Monument (which was just the mountain peaks).
As a result of the compromise, existing grazing rights were grandfathered in, ranchers were compensated for lost profits and no President could ever again use the Antiquities Act to pass legislation in the State of Wyoming without the express permission of Congress.
So the State that had America's First National park, is the only state in the Union where the antiquities act is null and void.

Don't even need to watch the trailer to know that I'll watch and probably enjoy the series.

That link is cancer on mobile.
That said, Sheridan sure does love to add in some unrealistic situations for more drama and it looks like this one will follow suit.
Don’t get me wrong, I’ve loved his recent trilogy of Sicario, Hell or High Water, Wind River. But it was literally retarded seeing the weapons that drill rig security team was carrying in Wind River. Having worked on a few rig sites in Wyoming, the most any of those guys would’ve been carrying was a pistol.
Anyways, I’ll watch the hell out of this.

I predict Costner has a late in life resurgence.
Watched Dances with Wolves the other night and it still holds up. What a great flick

Look like there is a sore loser who hates Kevin Costner or hates Wyoming in this thread.
This show looks awesome, hope it pans out.
