The latest medical findings are showing dietary fat doesn’t have the negative impact on cholesterol as once assumed.

High colesterol is genetic.

2 thighs and 2 legs of fried chicken have at least 25 grams of carbs. That doesn’t seem low carb for one meal.

Fried chicken is fine for Keto unless there is an absurd amount of breading. Lots of cluelessness in this thread.

It is for some folks.
I just do it for a month now and then to knock off 20 lbs.

Diabetics can come off insulin with it.

So you're dieting and you went to buy fried chicken? And then to add to it, you get dark meat?

Don't be surprised when you don't lose much weight.

According to their nutrition chart, you'd be looking at 28 carbs.

I ate cheese & eggs for breakfast.

Will have pulled pork and green beans for dinner.

Will be well under 50 g carbs for the day.

She slings chicken out a window for $8/hour. What did you want her to do?

Props on not understanding how low carb high fat diets work. I lost 30lbs on a diet that consisted of heavy cream and bacon at most meals.

My bad. I guess I've just never had a reason to go on any type of diet so I'm a little behind on the whole "I gotta go on a diet" deal.

Hit up Zaxby's and order a salad and two extra pcs of grilled chicken on the side. Much better. Costs about 11 bucks

Probably very last on my list of any fast food on the planet. But some like it, so not judging.

Seems completely absurd to me.

Looking at the menu, they just charged you for two 2 piece dinners and left off the sides. There were multiple ways to get what you wanted much cheaper.

There are plenty of carbs in fried chicken. Unless you are peeling the breading off.

As someone also on keto (and I've lost over 50 lbs in five months), this

No...I eat about half the breaded skin for flavor. It comes out to around 15g of carbs.

I lost 35 lbs in 2 months a couple of years ago on keto, and now I just do it every 6 months or so to maintain.

My brother also happens to be a Dr who specializes in obesity and diabetic issues associated with being overweight. He gives the green light on lightly breaded meats with keto diets, so I’ll probably take his advice over an internet tard.
