North Carolina with 1 foul in the first 10 minutes of the second half. Sounds familiar.

does anyone find it interesting that we were hit especially hard with the "CBB is soooo crazy, no dominant teams" shtick all year and basically every major conference tournament has had the best team win it?

SEC and big ten would be your arguments, but i think you can make a strong case that the best teams in those conferences are whoever wins tomorrow and michigan, respectively.

i dunno if you're kidding or not, but it doesn't normally feel this chalky in the conference tourneys. there were some minor upsets along the way, but i wasn't really surprised by any of them.

xavier losing how they did was probably most surprising (including auburn, who i am super low on), but they would have lost to villanova anyway.

it likely means absolutely nothing, but the teams that i consider the best are all heading into the tourney with some serious momentum.

I thought we could avoid North Carolina in a second round matchup in the tournament but a UNC loss combined with an Arkansas loss is making a 2/7 round of 32 matchup look like a lock.

If Ayton isn’t the 1st pick then that GM needs fired in the spot

He looks like Greg Oden in the face somewhat

Was not kidding. It seems obvious when you said it but it's not the norm.

Mavs need to step up their tanking game. Tonight isn’t helping

Edit: also do they typically play this in Vegas?

Physically he looks a lot like Oden but their games are quite a bit different. In some ways Ayton is far superior to Oden and he looks more coordinated but for some reason that hasn't translated to him being anywhere near the game changing defensive big man that Oden was. But yeah he seems like a pretty easy pick at #1 overall.
