Going to be in NWA for a 3 day backpacking trip in the Ouachita nationa forest. Eagle Rock Loop in 2 weeks. Very excited.

Ouachita’s aren’t NWA they are south Ozark’s are NWA

Seems like a lot of great outdoors options relative to most places. Drove through in April 2016 and 2017 and weather was devastating and scary both times lol

Yes you have rivers, lake, decent trails, great fishing, and if you like driving or riding motorcycles I suggest the Pig Trail

Eagle Rock is in the Ouachita’s but it’s not in Northwest Arkansas. It’s south

It’s good hiking and pretty scenery
