Pretty much the only good thing about Lake Charles

Is the Darrell's Special. I lived in Lake Charles from when I was 12 until 18 and I ate one of those beauty's about once a week. I started thinking about the sloppy jalepeno mayo and gravy dripping off, that awesome bread, the roast beef, and a good cold beer and realized my hand was in my pants. I haven't been to LC in a few years but I may make a special trip back just for a sandwich.

The LC Darrell's, while still good, isn't quite the same. They opened one in Jennings that is spot on though
