Selling/Trading in tires?

Is there anywhere in Lafayette that buys used tires? I bought a truck with off road tires, but really don't need that aggressive of a tire pattern. Can I sell them somewhere in town? I really don't want to deal with Facebook or craigslist.

A lot of used tire shops will buy used tires from anyone, usually for 10-20 dollars a piece. Call a few local used tire shops and ask them

Lots of folks selling tires on the Facebook Marketplace. You'll get a lot more than you would at a used tire shop. They have pretty good tread left?
What size?

Again, they are on my wife's 2wd expedition. She uses it to drive to work and we are going to use it for vacations. I need a street tire not an all terrain.

Make sure you make a deal where you buy your new tires that you can keep your old ones. You still have the pay the disposal fee but I would get that clear up front.

Disposal fee is for purchasing new tires.

Those are some damn good tires. Had them on my last truck. If the one I bought didn't have brand new toyos I would ha e paid to have someone swap them out and kept them on the new truck.
Good tread on them they should be easy to sell

Yes and it handles a little rough for her liking.
And, I can meet you somewhere to get them.

Yeah.
People tend to overinflate them. They put them to match the door but when buying an E rated tire it's better to go off the tire inflation chart from the manufacturer.
Like my toyos I run I can air down to 50 in the back and 60 in the front on my f250 and be fine based in the axle weights from the truck scales. Keeps the center from premature wear based on over inflation.
Much better ride. OP you could air them down and her ride would be more comfortable in the meantime while you're looking to replace.
