so what you're saying is 29 other teams' fans are wrong? its in the eye of the beholder type deal?

Dude is dirty. Even if he was on the Pelicans' I'd call him dirty.

That's like saying Suh is an angel if he were in a Saint uniform, foh with that

I didn't imply anything

Spurs fans cheered Bowen for years despite the fact that he practically invented the step-under ankle rolling closeout move

Y'all have banners in the rafters at this very moment thanks in part to him

Zaza does the same exact move to Kawhi and now it's "frick ZAZA, SO DIRTY"

Can't have it both ways, e-frands or not

Huh?

I'm saying he's dirty. He is dirty. Read the thread.

Well then you supported dirty moves for years.

But you probably don't see it that way because you're a fan

Which is all I ever said about the Zaza/Warriors dynamic

When they're on your team, it's easy to look the other way

Like you did!

Nope, and I defy you to find me an example of doing such. Now you're making shite up.

I’m not completely convinced about the Zara/Leonard incident.

But I mean there’s no denying this one. No one touches him and he falls

But, people don't mess up sometimes? We can never forgive them?

We can't ever forgive Gronk?

If you had to defend the honor and style of play of either Gronk or Zaza, who you picking?

So you weren't a Spurs fan when Bowen played for them?

Or did you just like him for his good defense while you ignored/condemned all the dirty shite he did?

I mean I personally won't ever view him the same way

It was a diving helmet spear to the back of the head of a defenseless player

The fact that he was "mad" only makes it more embarrassing to me. He's a grown man that couldn't control his emotions to the point that he resorted to violence that was well outside the scope of the game.

Of course I was. I was a Spurs fan long before Bowen even entered the league, much less played for the Spurs. Silly point to even bring up, really. Bowen hasn't played for SA in dang near a freaking decade

Liked him for his defense and that corner three he was nails with. Never defended his dirty shite. Pretty simple dynamic.

To hear people talk about defense back in the day, every team had multiple dirty players. By your silly logic, no fan of any team can ever carp about a dirty player on another team, so it's funny you're getting hung up on Bowen in particular I never even made the Bowen comparison or said his dirty shite was somehow less dirty than Zaza, so quit being obtuse, man.

Oh that's just silly.

As scary and dangerous as it was, I don't think he was thinking, "let me see if I can get this guy at the base of the neck wheelchair his arse."

Football.

It's football.

There are times in every game where losing your goddamn mind are pretty much beneficial.

See a lot of those are just little chippy stuff that’s fine. But the one in the OP is bad

People overreact to a lot of the things he does and that’s why he does it

No one on here would even remember that play if Tre White played for Georgia

I mean, a foot hooked around the back of the knee and another foot preventing me from catching my balance.. I would fall, too.

I'm not defending him as a player, but all this talk about it being blatant and obvious just seems melodramatic to me.
