Get good insurance and get a nice big room. Not sure what the deal is with having the mom in there or not. Seems like this is an overthinking it kind of issue.

Why is this a big deal
I'm married but no kids yet
I have no mother in law, but if my wife wanted an aunt or a lifelong friend there (she won't) I'm not sure why I should particularly care
