What’s the name of the Center in B R you are referring too? I’ll need to reach out to them.
Detox Center of Louisiana and Baton Rouge Area Alcohol and Drug Treatment Center. They are in the same building at 216 S. Foster just past The YMCA and Church of the Way if you are coming from Government Street. Phone is 225-925-5367.
They will be opening very soon.

AA saved my life as well, however I can very closely relate to Hollywood's opinions about AA. I used to sound just like him.
After trying every way i could think of and failing, my struggles beat me down to the point where I could finally concede that maybe I didn't have all the answers.
Then I saw people I knew and who's minds I respected had used this program to overcome what I could not, and I became willing to try a different path, the one that is laid out in the blue book.
The difference it made in my life can hardly be believed, and is a testament to the program, the fellowship and the belief in something greater than oneself.
