That's what AA turns into once you've hung around for a while.

I swore up and down it was a damn cult. They did all these readings like in church, passed around an offering plate, and held hands and prayed and brought God up. ??

Hang around though and it will change. For me being in a room face to face with other people is hugely different than talking to anyone online.

I felt like no one was like me, Until i heard a speaker at a meeting tell his story, well, that turned out to be my story. I realized we were all different but just alike, My worst day sober is far better than my best day drunk or high
