Thanks man. I've been down this road many times and I'm humiliated. The people at Baton Rouge General emergency are getting tired of seeing me. I've been trying to wean over a few days and I think I'm winning. I don't want to go back there but I know it is very life threatening. I've been on the brink of death a few times with DTS

You're not the first. One of the most humiliating moments of my life was suffering from massive DT tremors and simultaneously being able to hear all the ER nurses at the nursing station make comments about what a denigrate drunk I was.

You have to swallow your pride sometimes.

There is a detox center with a treatment center attached opening at 216 S. Foster in BR in a couple of weeks. Try going there for help next time.
