There was an episode of Twighlight Zone that messed me up for a good while. I can't remember all the details as I have tried to forget, but essentially one person from a family gets chosen on a certain night to be sacrificed/eaten by some kind of monster. It was an episode shown in the 90s. It wasn't really graphic, just the idea really messed with me.
As far as movies, IT and Pet Semetary.

I didn't see the original, but the Twilight Zone movie segment with John Lithgow on the airplane really got to me as a kid.
