Lol. I guess you ignore the part where it said that 97% of people in that range would benefit versus the 3% of people in that range they would lose their jobs, thhs a net gain. Please go on further though it's amusing

You have no idea what you're reading. This is cringeworthy

No ill effects

Read it further. You're still not getting that most people would be positively affected by it and 500,000 would lose their job. Overall it will have a positive effect was the result of the findings. You quit reading too soon when you found something that you felt like would aid your point of view

I the CBO is a terrible source. Even it contradicted what you claimed.

I can't tell if you're being serious or not but you seriously need to go back and read that again because right now you're looking pretty stupid

Of course because assumption even though history has no support for your claim is a much better source

Black unemployment used to be right in line w/ White unemployment. That all changed w/ the first min wage laws.

In fact, it was EXPLICITLY stated back then that the reason for jacking up wages artificially was to keep Blacks from getting jobs.

Unions were really "good" at this.

What? Democrat pet policies that harm black people?

Nnnnaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhwwwwwwww.......

Did you seriously just post the same study twice? Also, you have been asking for real life scenarios, and all you give us is a biased study?

Maybe you can show me where minimum wage has been increased to match the GDP has hurt the economy of this country

Yes, you are. After claiming it wouldn't reduce employment your own link proved you wrong.

In California alone job losses would be almost half a million.

Are you just completely disregarding the studies about Seattle? It is a modern day example of the problems of artificially raising the minimum wage.

It showed an overall positive effect just like it always has historically. I never said it wouldn't result in any job losses. You're just making stuff up now

There were two studies done on Seattle both which contradict each other. The Washington study what you are referencing has been under intense scrutiny for not being thorough on several parameters. You really should read all sides of an argument.

I'll post again

quote:

Based on the state's historical minimum wage experience, they estimate California will lose approximately 400,000 jobs by 2022 when $15 is phased in. Retail and food service employees are hit especially hard by wage increases; nearly half of all job loss comes from these industries.

It's been under intense scrutiny because they came up with results that people didn't want to see.
