Anybody have any insight into how wade will follow up this awesome 2018 class? Are we already in it for some guys or have any players that standout in Louisiana for that class?

I have zero insight but my guess would be that itll be about the same. maybe not as many top 50 players but it'll be one potential one and done and a few 2-4 year guys.
probably a little more wing heavy too.

There's not a lot of buzz around 2019 guys just yet, but I would go to be that'll increase a lot in the coming months as folks finish out seasons and we finish out ours. Probably going to add 1 more to our 2018 class then focus on 2019 hard.

I wouldn't say this site is always 100% accurate but it's a pretty good indication of who has offers and such in the coming years.
It also puts some amazingly interesting perspective to how the roster has become what it is by showing what year players would be if they didn't transfer/gopro/etc.

Right now it looks to be a really down year for Louisiana. There might be only one or two major conf. prospects (if that)
Look for LSU to really recruit Texas and Florida hard. LSU's assistants have big connections there. Bedford is LSU's Texas guy and Greg Heir is very well connected in Florida. In fact, he's the one that really helped land Days and Williams in this recruiting class.
Wade looks like he has some connection with Northeastern prospects: While at VCU he recruited Waters out of Connecticut and he also pulled Reid out of New Jersey (it didn't hurt that Reid's girlfriend is on the LSU women's team).

I've been hearing some good things about mylik wilson out of rayville? Anybody think he might get an offer?

D J Jeffries out of Mississsippi would be a huge get. He ahs offers from Kentucky, Kansas, Florida etc.
I met one of his teachers a few months go and she spoke highly of him. She has been pushing him to consider LSU more strongly so hopefully Will can get out recruit the blue bloods.

If you're going to ask a question then put a question mark in the title.

I can see you're an alter.
For those who aren't, when making a title asking a question put a ? so others with information can help you, instead of makng it look like you're posting information for others to read.

Can't make up your mind which stupid statement to make?
I can't seriously be the only one here who opens threads thinking there is some interesting information only to find out some goober is asking a question.
And stick the down votes up your arse.

Did we end up hiring the Houston guy to the staff? I just remember there being a guy with incredibly deep Houston ties that was an Arizona State assistant at one point and just got into legal issues. All about people heppin'

IDK if anyone has the scoop on Avery Anderson III out of Justin TX. 247 has him as a 4 star PG but only list 5 teams with interest and 100 percent to LSU. IDK if it's grades or something else, but the kid can play. LINK Anderson with the head band.

Yes. He's a Director of (something). Last name is Merrit. He's on the bench (or behind the bench) during games

I know some writer said he's the best shooter in the 2019 class. The problem is, unless he put on some major weight, 247 has him at 6'1" 150 lbs. 6'1" is starting to become small for a point guard, so a 6'1" shooting guard is tiny, much less one that weighs in at 150.
I wouldn't mind taking him as a spark off the bench, but he needs to work on his PG skills at that size. I'm only going off of highlights by the way

Will Wade is going to continue to bring top notch talent to LSU. Kids want to play for him. He's an energetic, young, innovative coach, with an infectious personality which relates very well with these players. We are gonna have talent as long as hes our coach. I would bet on that.
