Wtf is wrong with you guys who are defending Orgeron? We fired Miles bc he got stale and was only winning 9 games per year, but wasn't winning the big games. Suddenly 9 wins is awesome and losing to good teams is considered to be "good losses"!!!????
Do you not see the standards being lowered right in front of you? Good lord y'all are either inbred or related to Orgeron. There's no other explanation at this point

yep, it would've been better to lose those games.
if you looked at everyone's record who won8-9-10 games it would look the same. so when we lost to Alabama and notre dame they didn't beat a good team? worthless win?
this kind of argument is beyond stupid. a win is a win.
could you at least wait until he loses these games before you give up all hope?

I wasn't defending O. I was pointing out proclaiming a win was less than legitimate because the opponent "fell apart or made mistakes" can be used as the same excuse for our losses as well. The 2016 Florida game was dominated by LSU, but we coughed up the game on mistakes. We dominated ND until our defense surrendered 150yds and 2 TDs in the 4th QTR. That's simply a fact and I didn't excuse O or anyone else. They can be blamed for not finishing off the opponent. The point is, if you have any basic comprehension of sports, you can always nitpick wins and losses. Hell, we were 1 second from Miles remaining as LSU's coach.

According to most you experts has Coach O won a game!! I a mean Wtf comparing him to Hallman or even Dinardo Shitty Restaurant and all. Hallman was 16-28 at LSU hell in 1.5 seasons O about has him beat in wins and Hallman had 4 years without a winning record. Dinardo 3-8 and 4-7 geez.

Our last two coaches never lost to them at home, now it's some fricking accomplishment to even beat them.
The way we beat them was awesome. No one said it was an "accomplishment."

I'm not looking for anything better than 8-4 next year. I mean let's be honest. But if the lights come on for Brennan with what should be a great defense, this team could surprise. The great 2011 team had a half arse offense and look at the result against a strong schedule. Of course the defense as basically an NFL defense. The Miami game is pivotal. Win that one and the team might have some momentum going through the next tough stretch. Still very very concerned about the lack of ol depth.

LSU is 3-6 against teams with 8 or more wins.
8...

quote:Countryboy, actually the 2011 offense is LSU top 5 in a lot of categories, #2 Off TDs, #2 pts/season, #3 ppg, scoring margin, and others.

Herman improved Texas by 2 games
O didn't improve the team at all.

NO!! Facts iz: Many of you are trolls. Many of you appear to emerge from the New Orleans Tulane / LSU rivalry. Many of you are connected to Les Miles. ALL BAD
