Yes, they just mostly work in the government or for government contractors or as river boat pilots.

The mob runs Ascension Parish. Kenny Matassa is a blood relative to Carlos Marcello.

100%

Some are the following:

Camorra in Campania (region of Naples)
'Ndrangheta in Calabria
Cosa Nostra around Sicily
La Sacra Corono Unità in Puglia (though not as big as the others)
Banda della Magliana in Rome.

The ones here in the USA got fat and lazy and wimpy. The Russian Ukrainian and Chinese came in and the Eye-talyens weren't ready for the tougher immigrant gangs. I'm sure the Italian mafia in Italy is still strong bc the Vatican basically runs it.

Guess it was time for our Biweekly mafia thread.

1. Yes, the mafia is around in some places
2. Yes, everyone on the OT knows a made man or had a friend who “must’ve been mafia” Bc he looked Italian and didn’t deny it

Well if they are, it's not like the good ol days where they all drove around town in cadillacs and wore expensive suits and shiny shoes and had all the women.
