Seems to have a Saban-like attention to detail, is hyper-focused on defense and would actually let a big time OC do his job. Also, he's young and we could catch him on the upswing in his career. It's a bit of an experiment, but worth the risk IMO. We know what experiment as failed already...

Correct. He's an incredibly organized coach who expects perfection. He's the ultimate professional and not swayed by politics or emotion. You also wouldn't have to worry about him hiring his buddies unless they were actually qualified to do the job and were the best options.

I'd be on board with his hire.

Weren’t there rumors that he was trying to input what Canada should or shouldn’t be doing on offense based on set up of his defense already?

correct... these types of people are very rarely not successful...
