He must have found a way to pay them more than the other schools on their lists.

Impressive job by Frost. I'd love to see UN become elite again.

no one said anything about recruiting... it was more along the lines of why would he turn down UF for Nebraska?
and is Nebraska still a coveted position?

well he is from Nebraska. He grew up watching the huskers coached by TO, he played for the huskers.
I mean to him being from where he from, the Nebraska job was his #1 job.

. He also landed DE Caleb Tannor from Georgia, beating out 4 SEC schools for his commitment.
You're not including us as one of those schools, right?

Are you serious? He grew up there, played there, and won a national championship there. There was never any question where he was going. Gainesville is the Thibodaux of Florida.

Florida and Auburn were the two who really wanted him. I think Georgia made out just fine without him

One of the better programs got rid of an oddity of a coach, and the recruiting goes back to normal. Seems about right.
Why on earth did Nebraska hire Mike Reilly? One of the oddest hires in recent memory.

When was UCLA EVER a coveted position? When was their last championship, 1954? And when was A&M, 1939? You're the last person who should be talking.

They wanted the polar opposite of Bo Pelini, simple as that. The AD crossed his fingers and hoped that with our resources, Riley would succeed. In the end, they both lost their jobs.

I mean, I guess we're alright
But Frost should put a lot of excitement back in the fan base. Not sure how year 1 will go, but he's definitely in the right side of that conference to make an impact sooner.

They'll shock some people next year. There's talent on that team, and he'll light a fire under their collective asses.
