thank you for your concern. It’s sad the SPED kids I teach have more comprehension than you.

I never will understand why Rice isn't universally accepted as the GOAT

It’s because of Jerry Rice Day thing with some in the media, I believe Then he just wouldn’t go away when it was clear he was done.
He and Cris Carter are a lot alike in that way.

You're a teacher? Your grammar is awful.

3rd best WR to ever put on a 49er uniform

Thanks for letting me know that!!
I did not know my grammar mattered on this particular website. But, I will make sure to correct it, just for you.

Unitas is up there if not the GOAT
His numbers, compared to his peers, is the biggest discrepancy of any QB
Montana is wayyyyyyyyyy up there in that metric too. Look at his QB Rating + each year.

Would you take a guy with Staubachs skill set over Brady’s? Of course you would.
I'd take a guy with Elway's skillset over any quarterback who's ever played the sport, well Elway's clone currently plays his name's Aaron Rodgers unfortunately A-Rod's more injury prone sad day

Also, Jerry Rice is hands down the best NFL player ever
His performance and stats at the WR position, dworfs everyone else that played the position
Rice has 7000 more yards more receiving then the 2nd WR

Love JR but I think Jim Brown, there's a reason they're ranked 1-2 in that NFL Top 100 Greatest Players list and I assume that's a close 1-2, Brown was like a freak of nature when he entered the league back in the late 1950s and produced like it too IIRC he was probably bigger and stronger than a lot of linemen at the time certainly faster lol

Jim Brown was league MVP AND ROY same year baw, also arguably the greatest lacrosse player ever, certainly arguably the greatest athlete of all-time if we conveniently ignore Jim Thorpe

No he's not the greatest. He's part of the greatest system. His team is what, 14-6 without him with subpar QBs?

How many Super Bowls and Super Bowl victories those subpar QBs lead their teams to? OH WAIT, ZERO!!!

You mean team/organization? TB12's played with different OCs throughout his career and, to my knowledge, the Patriots don't rely on a single system in their offensive approach, that 2007 Pats offense with McDaniels as OC might've been the greatest single-season offense the league has ever seen and TB12 wasn't dinking and dunking the ball by any stretch that season, in fact that offense with Brady, Moss and Welker resembled almost a run and shoot, air raid attack where Brady was going deep almost all the time.

There are two types of people who believe Brady is the GOAT QB: 1. Pats homers suffering from fanboy induced cognitive dissonance 2. Idiots
Brady is the greatest passing QB to ever play the game. It’s kinda obvious actually.

I personally think Brady is the GOAT but like many here understand how difficult it is to compare across generations. You can look at Otto Graham’s #’s and go wow! Then the argument becomes the size of the league compared to today but my biggest argument against today’s game is how much the game has changed regarding protection of the QB position. Tom Brady or any of today’s senior QB’s could not have extended their careers if yesterday’s rules were in play and anyone who says otherwise knows zero about the game 20-30 years ago period
