this is like his 3rd mod. he started with gas (way too combustible) and switched over to diesel which takes more to ignite.
the C02 tank hanging off his back is connected to bottom of scuba tank via hole he drilled in it which pushes the diesel out controlled by a pressure valve.
honestly i'm not sure what-all he did but he was ordering parts and making trips to TSC for like 6 months while he was putting it together.

Just have to keep the tank pressurized with CO2 or something other than air. If there's no oxygen in the line to burn, you can't have a flame.
