It doesn’t sound like Shurmur is going to have any patience for Beckham’s childish behavior. The enabling of Beckham began with Tom Coughlin and then McAdoo, quite frankly, was scared of him. Shurmur wants to sit down with OBJ.

He needs to establish ground rules. He says OBJ gets a clean slate, which is a good thing, because not even Soft Scrub would clean up the garbage from the old one.

“When I think all things Odell, we just need to start talking and find out why things happen and if they are not by our standards, then we got to find a way to get it fixed,” Shurmur said.
