Were in no position to turn down a QB. Look at Cam Newton. He was given a second chance and led his team to a N.C.

When you have to rely on the exception rather than the rule to support your position, you've already lost. Elite play with a QB who got kicked off their last team is almost nonexistent.

Also.. Mettsiah. Don't remember if he went JUCO but he was kicked off of UGAs team before throwing to the likes of Landry and OBJ.

Malik Henry was on his second chance as a sophomore in high school. He was a cancer in high school and it has carried over to his college career.

Guys like Cam and Mett did something stupid but they paid for their mistakes and seemed to have learned from them as I don’t think either has been in trouble since. They aren’t even in the same galaxy as Henry.

Let’s not deem this kid a Cam Newton just yet. He’s 2 inches shorter, 65 pounds lighter, and can’t even move nearly as well. Nowhere near a threat on the ground to what Cam was, and Cam has a way better arm. He could launch it, plus Cam makes better reads than this kid.
