Lots of good source material to work with here and from intitial looks it seems promising in its potential. Michael Shannon lends immediate respectability.
I wonder if they will push an agenda or play it straight down the middle. Crazy cultists, trigger happy weekend warriors, and political players in over their heads all have roles here.

Set it to record, but haven't watched yet.
I heard an interview on the radio yesterday. Apparently, they had the FBI's hostage negotiator that was there and a former member of the Branch Davidians that was there on set as advisers during shooting. They said the studio worked really hard to give viewers an inside view and an outside view with no slant either direction.

Yep ... been watching. Had already read two of the three books it is based upon. They're doing a good job of presenting it so far.
