You do know that his OC and QB coach is Derek Dooley, right? This year's OC moved on. Those are two jobs Dooley has never held.

Good young man, happy for him. Will pull for him as long as he isn't playing the real Tigers.

Low key one of the worst hires in the last decade.

What are they thinking?

I guess he redshirts with Lock back as a SR.
The rant will end if Scott tears it up at Mizzou in two years.

He redshirted here as a freshman

So he won't redshirt there but will be a RS Sophmore. Not sure what their QB depth chart looks like but they could groom him as the replacement if they want

Too bad Heupel is gone and he's stuck with Derrick Dooley.

No clue. Easily the worst hire of any college this year. I cannot imagine what in his background convinced them to take a flyer on him in two positions he has never held.

ETA: I was referring to Dooley, not Scott, when I sid “his background.”

60%+ completion in HS and JUCO. That's plenty. I guess he doesn't mind competition though. Lock is back

There were reports that they interviewed a couple of other better candidates but everyone scoffed at their financial offer. So they landed on Dooley
