I’m sick of people posting they’re sick of threads.
It’s simple....just ignore them!

I’m gonna go out on a limb and say these two teams will be in the Super Bowl.

I'm not sure how anyone can dislike hearing about LSU players in the damn Superbowl.
Eta: Sucks to see Fournette and Hunter lose in the conference championship games though.

Doug Pederson coached at Calvary Baptist. LSU could have easily hired that HS coach in 2008/9.

Well, wouldn't we all like to see the Tigers in the CFP? I'm not getting your connection to moral victories by celebrating former players in the Superbowl though. I don't recall anyone saying it's ok we aren't in the CFP since a few Tigers made it to the Superbowl.

Always love to see Tigers in the NFL, especially in the Super Bowl!

Damn... Doug Pederson spends 4 years as a HS coach, then goes straight to the NFL as an “analyst,” becomes HC in year 8, then Super Bowl coach on short order. Mercurial rise.

Philadelphia Eagles (2009–2010) Offensive quality control coordinator
Philadelphia Eagles (2011–2012) Quarterbacks coach
Kansas City Chiefs (2013–2015) Offensive coordinator
Philadelphia Eagles (2016–present) Head coach

Pederson played quarterback at NLU from 1987-1990.

Ok, thanks for the addition. Yes, that’s his obvious LA connection. Most coaches were former players. This was more about his rise as a coach.

And then went on to be Brett Favre’s back up for 42 years. Safest job in the NFL. One of the greatest coaches I ever worked with while at Calvary. Just a great dude.
