Irreversible. The rape scene and the Fire Extinguisher scene are brutal.

Gets my vote.

I might be the only one who finds this movie leaning more to an after school special pushing fear than anything disturbing.

The Lobster.

I just thought it was disturbing. I don't watch many creepy movies though.

For me it was No Country for Old Men.

The story and the way the violence was portrayed.

Really first time I pondered the thought that some people just kill and could care less about the life they take regardless of innocence or guilt.

Some sick shite. That shotgun blast to the throat. I had to get up and head out and come back it was so brutal.

Second could be The Hills Have Eyes.

Creepy/Disturbing doesn't really come to mind when I think of "The Lobster". But to each his or her own.

This and another movie with a very similar plot line called Kidnapped (which I thought was a little better). I hate this genre of film yet I watch!

I outright dismiss human centipede and Serbian as anything but gorenography. They're kinda interesting as artifacts but as competent at a narrative as regular porn.

My tossup goes to Ichi the Killer and Old Boy.

I watched Funny Games for the second time last year. It's not an unwatchable film. But it does stick with you for awhile.

Also, are you talking about the 1960's film Kidnapped or the one with Halle Berry?

for those of you saying Human Centipede, I contend that it is a masterpiece in the thriller genre compared to Human Centipede 2.

I mean, you have this guy jerking it with sandpaper and raping a woman with barbed wire around his dick for frick's sake.

EDIT: I take it back. I just read the plot synopsis for HC3 and it easily wins. Good God...

I'll also say that The Thing was disturbing. The original.

The remake could have been so much better.

Old school could be ALIEN as no one at that time when it came out knew what the frick was going on and what was the Alien.

My mom said at the theatre people were walking out left and right after the scene where the alien burst out of the chest of hurt.

The original was in 1951 and was directed and written by Howard Hawks.
