I had a pipe bust in a wall in my house in CO once. I forgot to disconnect the water hose and a storm came through. The house was made so it was easy to access the pipes feeding outside spigots from inside the house. Houses in the south aren't usually made this way and you would be looking at cutting a hole in your inside wall to repair it.

My walls are concrete internally. I'm screwed if anything happens.
