Nine guys wearing the same uniforms, but sometimes having different gloves.

Based on the starters line-up at the end of fall scrimmages, I think the starters this spring will be as follows:
C Hunter Feduccia
1st Bryce Jordan
2nd Brandt Broussard
SS Josh Smith
3rd Jake Slaughter
LF Daniel Cabrera
CF Zach Watson
RF Antoine Duplantis
DH Bradon Doughty

SP Zack Hess, Caleb Gilbert, Devin Fontenot

DH could change depending on the opposing pitcher with Nick Webre going against lefties.

What he said will be very close.

I think Coomes will get alot of at bats provided he stays healthy.

I also like the ability of Hughes to play either 2B, 3B, or SS with a team that won't need a ton out of his bat but a solid glove up the middle.

I thought Chris Reid would be at 3rd. I know his bat struggles but he is solid with the glove.

We don’t have someone with better reach for 1st?

I don't think he'll stick at first. Wouldn't be surprised to see Slaughter move back to 1st because of the job he did there.

I wanted to see slaughter make the transition to second because he was a middle infielder in HS and he reminds me of LeMahieu (tall slender smooth) and Rankin woley take 3rd buttttt Rank the Tank had other plans lol

I've got a starter living 2 houses down. I'll have to try and get some inside info during the season.

Chris Reid probably wont be in the starting line-up early in the year but I feel like he has the potential to do big things this year.

I think they will have a hard time keeping Nick Webre out of the lineup. That dude seems like he can flat out rake. He tore up summer ball and then it seemed like he did very well in fall ball too (without looking up any kind of fall stats). Especially being a lefty, I think you will see him get a lot of at bats, probably only sitting out against left handed pitchers and a few other games.

Where's Mason Templet? Kind of had my head in the sand due to all the O drama.

Transferred. Presumably because he wasn't going to play. He was on the same summer ball team as Nick Webre and Webre put up significantly better stats (although Templet's were good too).

I’ll be interested to see if Hess stays as a starter or if they move someone else to that spot. I know he’s dealing with arm fatigue right now.

Slaughter, Smith, and Hughes are better defensive options. Chris will fit nicely if he's needed at 2B or DH.

I'm hoping this will Nick Storz but that might not be at least for another year. If he becomes a starter I doubt he's more than a DH given that Mainieri doesn't like to overload his pitchers.

From the limited AB's Storz had in fall, he seemed to struggle making contact. I don't know how much his shoulder affected his swing but, I hope he comes around at the plate this season. He surely has power potential.
