They don’t play defense:

They don’t rebound:

So what do shells boys have to hang their hat on? An over the hill Lebron who has to do everything for this team including coaching. A broken down Isaiah Thomas who has really only had one stand out year. Kevin love who always seems to disappear when the stage gets the biggest. Dwade playing on two broken knees?

Face it, it’s over. The east has evolved, not to beat GS, but to beat the Cavs. Lebrons reign is over. Done. There will be a new champ in the east. Ready to step up to the arse kicking the warriors are serving.

What Lebron does after this year is irrelevant, much like this years cavs team already is.

Tough call. I am leaning toward the camp they are done R2 or ECF, but you'll have your stalwarts saying he will just turn up the dial on D and easily get to the NBA Finals. Cs in five in the ECF, IMHO.

So we’re saying that Toronto will eliminate Cleveland in the second rd?

These threads don't go well. This is the 4th year (well 8th) that the Cavs have been shite in January.

Yes

Cleveland doesn’t defend and Toronto is a great scoring team. Milwaukee and Washington are serious threats to knock them out in rd1 imho

Dog days. Newness of the season has worn off at this point teams are ready to get to the all star break. After the break it is time to work your way into playoff mode.

This is the exact same time every year that they decide to mail it in for a couole of months and not play D. We had this same discussion for the past two years. Once the playoffs start, they will play just enough to run through the East and get throttled by GSW.

Not for CC HOU won’t be dog days this year. Not enough time on the court with James and Chris together.

Yeah...until they're actually defeated IN THE PLAYOFFS or eliminated from them due to regular season stuff then I refuse to agree with this argument, it's LeGOAT James brah. I'm gonna have to be proven wrong here come April-May, it's that simple.

Normally Cavs are running low value east teams out of the building. Not sure we have ever seen Lebron at his point in the year on a team trending down.

Past years on a west road trip maybe lose two, but not like this. They have bigger issues than they just are trying very hard

Are we gonna do this every year? LeBron team loses a stretch of games midseason. "THEY DONE!" Then they run through the playoffs like clockwork. They don't care about the regular season.

I am not sure Mike D. will be able to push them too hard down the stretch. That Harden injury is rather significant and by no means should they rush him back. Houston has had too many injuries up and down the roster and with CP3's age and injury history, it may not be wise to push for the #1 seed.
