Going to the game and I need help

Dragging the family across the state tomorrow night for the game. Not gonna lie it’s been a while since I have been to a game in person. 3 kids under the age of 10 and my daughter has Down syndrome. I need help! What time should we get there? Boys love basketball so I want them to be able to see as much pre game as possible. What about concessions? Bring a hundred and hope I make it out alive? Thanks for the help and Geaux Tigers!

Doors open an hour and a half before tip. Just walk down to the court and lots of the guys will sign autographs, take pics and chat with your kiddos.

The game starts at 7:30PM. I have to go pick my tickets up at will call which opens up at 6PM. The guy at the ticket office told me today that the earlier I can get there the better because there will be a good crowd.
I would be on campus at least an hour before tip. Not sure where you plan on parking. Anytime I go to a basketball game I park on the road by lockett. It's not really that far away and it is always easy to get in and out, but get there about an hour before tip,

That's cool. Had no idea they did that.
OP - I'd say get there an hour early. Let them see the real Mike the tiger if he's out. Take a pic by the tiger statue. We usually get to our seats about 10-15 minutes before tip.

Thanks for the advice guys! We are ready! Boys are so excited. We’re probably gonna get there around 5:30 or so and go see if mike is out. Any recommendations on parking?

I always park up the hill in the Lockett parking lot.
Concessions aren’t good. But they are expensive, so there’s that. They do offer free refills on large sodas. Might be a way to minimize the pain with your kids. There are a couple concession trailers actually located outside the building that they have access to from the outer concourse. They have had less people than the regular concession stands when I’ve passed them. I have no idea what they sell from the trailers though.
Tomorrow’s halftime show is Red Panda. She’s the Chinese lady who rides a unicycle and flips bowls on her head. If you haven’t seen her it sounds weird but it’s a cool show. Your kids will like it and you will be amazed.
But of course the real show is our team. See you at the PMAC tomorrow night. I’ll be the one in purple and gold.

I really can’t wait for a good weekend series with a home basketball game and then a baseball game at the box. Basketball is back and it makes everything way more fun!

If y'all go see Mike, dress the kids warm. It's gonna be in the 30s

Why not go to the game? Basketball needs as many fans as possible.

Thanks buddy! Will do. I’m a fishing guide so we are very used to being out in the elements. We don’t stop fishing in the winter.

Been to a few games this year. Plenty of parking. Not much traffic; so don’t leave early. UK I parked in the lots by Patrick Taylor on the PMAC side because I arrived a little late. Was about a 15 min walk to PMAC.
Like others have said; souvenir cups get free refills and the kids can bring them home and enjoy drinking out of them later.
Hope y’all have a great time. Wish I could be there.

Awesome! Thanks buddy! I’m sure they are the same kind of cups from the football games so we will just add to our already large collection.

Off subject, but......
You’re in a good area for that profession. Shoot me a pm with your personal info. I’ve got some nephews from Tx that have been dying for a good fishing trip. Can meet em in the middle that way!!
See ya at the PMAC!!!!
