Why limit it to presidential candidates? Expand it to all elected officials in the federal government. As usual, some Lib in Congress attempting to exclude themselves from the rules they seek to place on others.

i actually like the idea if its amended to read:
this act requires all political candidates for national office to undergo medical examination by 3 different independent medical examiners and certified as mentally stable and rational. if at any time they make statements that call into question their ability to face and accept clearly defined facts, reason rationally, and function normally, as determined by a certified licensed mental medical professional, they will have to submit to a re-examination by 3 different independent medical examiners and re-certified as mentally stable and rational.
that right there by itself would take half the dems out of congress immediately
