Just got off the phone with the customer service guy.

He said verbatim:

IF WE HAD CHANGED THE STATUS TO SHIPPED LAST WEEK IT WOULD HAVE GOTTEN TO YOU TOO SOON FOR YOUR FREE SHIPPING SELECTION.

also said its in a 'limbo' status now that can't be expedited nor can it be cancelled. seriously.

WTF amazon.

Right so if they shipped it last week, they'd be giving you expedited shipping for free.....

I don’t see the problem. You don’t pay for expedited service.
