Ed Orgeron on Dave Aranda staying on #LSU DC: "Dave is a very instrumental here w/ what we're building at LSU. He's one of the best defensive minds in all of football, and he's even better person. We're looking forward to him being at LSU for many years to come."

Hopefully the “many” part is accurate.

If his dream is to a nfl dc then I doubt money will matter. With that said I hope he is in Baton Rouge for a long time.

What does that even mean?

If Aranda hated being here and O made the working conditions unbearable and the two couldn’t work together, do you think he’d be turning $3m/yr down?

I swear, some of you have no fricking common sense whatsoever.

What does that have to do with what I said?

At some point O will have to accept that Aranda is clearly more valueable to this program than he is. I don't know if he can accept that. Wouldn't be surprised if he started asking Mr Duke Rape Scandal for a raise soon

No. It’s regurgitated bullshite that all of you have been saying for months. Don’t try to sugar coat it and justify your comment.

If O had a ego and couldn’t work with Aranda, Aranda would be gone. The two obviously have a workable relationship and O doesn’t pull any attitude with Aranda.

Funny, you guys love to tell everyone that O just loves to have his hand and meddle with everyone. It’s kind of odd that he doesn’t meddle with the defense. One would think that since Os background is with defense, he would have his hand in the defense more than the offense.

Maybe Canada is just a fricking scumbag and they don’t like each other. If he had such an ego, he’d be fricking with Aranda too and he’d be gone.

But regurgitate the same bullshite for hours every single day until something changes. Maybe you guys can act like Tennessee and get O fired by twitter.

You are strawmanning the frick outta yourself right now. I'm not saying those two can't work together.

You’re insinuating it. You don’t have to say it.

This board has accused O’s ego has gotten in the way of Canada of doing his job. So I guess since that ego he’s supposed to have will eventually get in the way of Aranda too!

I agree 100% I am so tied of the O meddling narrative. The only thing I can come up with is tthat O asked C to limit the pre snap shifts for the Troy game because he was starting two freshmen, I played O line beyond high school and in no way shape or form was that unreasonable request by the head coach , and anyone who thinks different has no idea what they are talking about.
